Welcome to attobotics. How was the company's name derived?
Attobotics comes from two words. The first is the prefix atto-, which means 10-18 or 0.000000000000000001. The other part, -botics, is short for robotics.
Attobotics’ goal is to build 10-18 size robotics. As with the space industry which needs to model rocket liftoff before actual construction, the goal of building this size of robotics can be realized by first developing computer models to demonstrate how 10-18 robotics can be built and operated. First, a graphics engine will be built that can mathematically handle multi-million body interaction. To build this engine, it is necessary to support a multiple-Teraflop, one trillion floating point operations per second, system. With this computational capability, it will be possible to add features to the graphics engine to support image analysis and image grabbing.
Attobotics is currently working on a 4D - interactive holographic surgical center. The center is designed to allow a surgeon to perform a sugery on actual patient "data", which incorporates images from MRI, CAT scan and x-rays with the potential physiological characteristics of the patient. Therefore as the surgeojn is performing his work, the computer will determine what physiological changes are occurring.
05/09/2015. Working on custom software solutions for embedded environments in the Seattle area with major Electonics distributor.
This past week, have begun working with an electonics distributor to make sure that their clients can get full support with software solutions along with their hardware purchases. Please contact us for any embedded solutions you may need. Thanks.
06/05/2015. In conjuction with NWCPP, the hack a thon will go on. ST microelectronics will be working with us to get the equipment necessary to support the event.
04/24/2016 Due to ST Microelectronics non-responsiveness, the Hack-a-thon did not take place. If they are not interested in new customers, why don't they just shut down.
04/24/2016 Did a presentation in February for NWCPP on IO device event handling. Also submitted a paper for WG21 in Jacksonville, FL. The paper was approved, yet wanted me to show in person in Finland. Hope I can make it.

Starting a blog for NWCPP called the B-Tree Blog. Will go through tips, solutions and potential problems that developers may have to allow others to work on. Please visit http://NWCPP.org for more details.
